Any individual that might be involved in the selection process must exclude themselves from the entire recruitment process, if a candidate whom they have referred is under consideration. If they do not do so the award will be withheld.
The company will only conduct interviews with those referred candidates who meet the company’s required needs and will extend employment offers to those candidates who are the most qualified and suitable for the role, regardless of how the candidate came to the employer’s attention.
Payment may be subject to Benefit-in-Kind taxation.
The referral payment will only be payable if the employee is, at the time, fully engaged with the Organisation and not serving their notice period.
In a situation where an employee recommends a candidate for a fixed-term or specified purpose contract position, where the duration of the contract is less than 12-months the employee will be not be eligible for a cash award under the Employee Referral Programme.
Where the successful candidate is part-time or relief, then the amount awarded will be paid pro-rata.
