A Home From Home

We understand that ‘Pebble Beach’ is ‘home’ to our young people for however long they stay with us. Family and friends are welcome at all times, and we want them to have peace of mind that their son, daughter, or sibling feels comfortable, content and well cared for.

Every person has the right to:

  • Be treated with respect
  • Say no and not to feel guilty
  • Experience and express their feelings
  • Make time for themselves
  • Change their minds
  • Ask for what they want
  • Make mistakes

Our care staff at ‘Pebble Beach’ concentrate on building basic life skills, establishing effective conduits for communication, and creating de-sensitisation programmes in order to eliminate environmental triggers for challenging episodes.
